Hi, I have recently cleared a couple of Telephone screens for this amazon BIE role.
https://www.amazon.jobs/en/jobs/1250565/business-intelligence-engineer-aws-infrastructure

The recruiter emailed me and said that the team has enjoyed chatting with me and would like to move forward, and said she is gonna send the next steps shortly.

So, I think the next step is gonna be Onsite and Proactively looking for some answers for Preparation.

I have gone through several interviews on Glassdoor and I spot these are the major things asked (not in any order):

1) LP's
2) SQL
3) DW+DM+ETL basics
4) Product Sense / Data Sense (Metrics + Measures)
5) Statistics basics
6) Probability Basics
7) ML basics
8) Python
9) BI tools knowledge

My question here is the role that I am interviewing for has SQL and BI tools as required qualifications and Python, Metrics/Measures, and DW/DM as preferred qualifications. There are no mentions of Stats/Probability/ML anywhere in the Job Description. What are the chances that I will be asked about these stats especially in the interview with a Data Scientist?
If yes what parts should I focus on Stats/Probability/ML?

Also since I will have a maximum of 10 days for prepping up due to various reasons, what would be the priority or strategy in terms of the above-listed topics?

Please do let me know. Thank You.

There will be 5 rounds. Nearly all rounds will have LPs. Prepare atleast 20 examples. There will be one or two (at max) questions of SQL.
    And one case study question.
BUT, LP is the most important. As long as you do those well, Amazon will hire you

Yes. You won't be asked stats questions directly (such as what is pvalue) but you will be asked case studies and you might use the concept of AB testing to decide on something. In that way they test whether you know your stats or not. Forget about ML. No one will touch it.
Be prepared will LPs. That's it. And one or two SQLs. And make sure your LPs reflect their LPs. Also, there will be follow up questions. One pretty common question: What would you differently if you were to try this for the second time. Or what were the challenges. How did your manager react. What did you do then.

Thank you so much for your insight. I have some strong SQL querying background so i think that ain't gonna take long time for me. I will prepare LPs strongly and some stats.

I had my on-site in July. Got a reject. The biggest mistake I made was using same story for 2 answers that too with a different interviewer. NEVER repeat your stories. I understand that just with 2 yoe, you might not have those many stories, but, as Dave Anderson mentions here -> https://medium.com/@scarletinked/are-you-the-leader-were-looking-for-interviewing-at-amazon-8301d787815d, make up stories which the interviewer will like. All the best bud. Keep us updated on how it goes.
