Is a Tesla (model 3 performance with autopilot, more specifically) worth it in the San Francisco City? At what TC would you be comfortable getting one? Asking in terms of monthly payments, limited charging stations, limited parking etc.

It’s a shady company. Buyer beware
A ~50k car in SF at 210k TC is definitely do able, but certainly not a necessity.
Unless you enjoy driving and treat your vehicle as a hobby, I would go for something a bit cheaper

If cost is a concern, you don't have to get the Performance version. Long range w/autopilot is probably the best bang for the buck.
