should i rush the recruiter for quicker response?

I just finished last round of interviews with Facebook and the recruiter will let me know by mid next week if I got the job. But I do have a verbal offer from another company and therefore ideally i would like FB to move fast on me if i got the job. But from what I understand, there are few more candidates they are interviewing.

So can they realistically expedite? Would I risk not getting an offer if I ask to expedite?
