Howdy y'all,
I am posting on behalf of my friend, he has an upcoming virtual onsite new-grad interview at Pinterest, and this is a sort of do-or-die interview for him given his visa situation. So he wants to know some interview preparation tips for Pinterest how to prepare for coding rounds/topics to focus on, do they follow any pattern from Leetcode (LC easy-med or hard), are they looking for an optimal solution or just a working solution?
Any tips for the behavioral part? While answering questions like "why do you want to join Pinterest," what are some key notes to hit? Also, if there is other crucial info you can provide for the interview, please let me know.

1. They did hards as well as tougher mediums
2. I had a an almost working approach with hard, but it wasn’t working at the end. I had explained to the interviewer and he agreed it was most efficient approach. I also had completely nailed rest of the rounds. I got offer and joining soon.
3. LC tagged questions are few but important.
