I was recently approached by a recruiter offering a job at stanford, and now i am a product manager at cisco which job to take any stanford employees here ?

I would not consider joining an university as a software engineer. Have friends working as software engineer in some labs and they did not like it. Pay is low and no respect

Probably easy enough as an employee, MS degrees are more of a cash cow and employees get discounts.
