Hi I have an onsite coming in few weeks and I want to understand bit more about how system design interviews at Facebook at evaluated from the interviewers perspective. What are the key things/ signals / must haves that they look out from the candidate especially for an L5 for a successful interview. How important are the BOE calculations? I have seen in some other posts that they also look out for hardware estimates (CPU/RAM/STORAGE) and may be dollar estimates also ? I am attending the onsite for PE role but assuming the evaluation standards are the same as SWE. thanks in advance.

Large scale system design , coherent and articulate communication, lead the discussion to a fluid conversation. For PE, I believe Google has a book on SRE, itβs available online for free, concepts should be similar
Can you provide a link to the book? What is SRE
