got t4 offer after interviewing for t5 at lyft. what is the average time it takes ti gwt promoted to t5. is there a possibility to negotiate for t5??

What is SE? So, what do you get by having good ratings? At FB, we have annual bonus and refresher calculated by ratings, how about Lyft?
Why do you not get promo after 2 se you in a row? What is the point of se rating if someone gets it for a whole year but still no promo... @facebook, se is strongly exceeds. Our ratings are needs improvement (pip), meets most (kind of pip), meets (did your job for your level), exceeds (beyond your level), strongly exceeds (blew it out of the park), redefines (God mode)
Do not go to Lyft for a promo: 1. Was hired with understanding it is 'high end of T4'. Manager immediately said we never had such an understanding at first review 2. Great ratings (will disclose in dm, otherwise would identify), in next two cycles. 3. Watching bullshit redditors and PM doc Bros getting promos left and right 4. No promo in sight ?? 5. Review cycle format keeps changing every f...ing time. 6. Everyone only cares about promo no one wants to write code or fix anything.
There is no such thing called high end anywhere.
How do you "know" if you're SE or EE? as in... is it part of your 1-on-1s with manager? is it just a gut feeling? is it something you can track personally? Is it ambiguous ? is it concrete? etc.
Your ratings will be told to you formally after the review cycle is complete, which determines how much refresher you get

also op, to be clear... if you are thinking about moving l4 to l5 in reasonable, fair, orderly manner at lyft you are barking up the wrong tree. shit some of the few who actually contribute and have head on straight and manage to endure the clown-show for 2+ getting dicked over and raked for the e5. meanwhile completely fucking <differently abled></thought/language police>e6 and e7 also roaming the grounds trying to conjure up a reorg or more ‘headcount’ or meet with consultants to rehash tired ‘strategy’ for yet more failure or another ‘council’ a council‘council’ to take on post reorg council strategy headcount allocation. honestly these are your options. t4 to t5 is unlikely though
