When you factor in selection bias of happy employees being less likely to post, you probably get that by a slim margin, Amazon is not nearly as bad as people claim.
That being said 40+% of people claiming it’s bad is terrible, stay away unless the money is good and you’re willing to coinflip being placed on a good team.
Out of nowhere 4 people were pipped ( out of 17 ). This included people that could not develop themselves further because they were putting the product first. The team disintegrated soon after.
Before that point to me it was way overhyped, but since seeing that ( and watching the team I helped build get destroyed) it has made me a lot more sceptical.
It is still overhyped on here, but it is an area of concern.
