If you are looking to move to US just because of TC, the bump here might not worth the hassle. Bay area pay should be significantly higher. Personally I won't consider relocating unless at least 2x TC.
Not worth it to relocate to the Bay Area for such low pay. I’m surprised that Applied gives such low stock grants nowadays.

What’s your motivation to move to Toronto? Where are you right now? Why Canada vs the US? This is a very subjective decision
