Relocation from Raleigh to Seattle/Bellevue Metro

What is the Comparable TC that I would need to ask for to move from Raleigh to Seattle ?

Current TC : 162K
Offered TC : 220K with a Non-Faang company.

Cost of living comparison sites show more than 300K as the comparable pay, but not sure how accurate are they? Currently renting here for a 2Br at 1400 and plan to buy home in a year or two.

    220k is definitely above the median wage of 200k and should be good enough to begin with. Can rent 2 bedroom 2 bathroom for about $2500. Definitely expensive to buy house in Seattle so people live outside in areas like Redmond, Kirkland, Bothell, Issaquah, etc in much larger houses and commute to Seattle.

    You will get a studio here for $1400.. and buying is $1M for single family homes closer to Seattle or Bellevue
