I’m customizing my resume for the job posting, adding keywords, but I just can’t seem to get my resume picked up for phone screen. What’s the secret?
I’ve even had referrals to G and Twilio and no luck.
The resume is results oriented, and shows great results given I’ve been at hyper growth companies.
The first 5 years of my career were in agencies, but the last 5 were 2 successful b2b startups, but they’re not house hold names. I’ve even gotten huge promotions out my my experience level at my current spot, but I’m applying for roles at my experience level.

On the PM side a few pointers
1. Don’t just tell me what you did. Tell me what you accomplished.
2. share quantitative metrics ex increased rev by this x% and retention by y%
3. Formatting to make sure you showcase leadership, product development, etc at each of your roles
I do get a lot of inbound hits on LinkedIn, mostly junk but also recruiters for Amazon and Meta (which I won't work for).
Not sure what to make of this PM job market. Super hot by some indicators but not by others.
