Hi, I got the offer from Zeta for the position of Sr. SDE

Education: B.Tech from tier 3
YOE: 8
TC : 35LPA (31.5 fixed + 10% variable)
Current organization : Times Internet
Zeta offer : 54LPA (48 Fixed + 3 JB + 3 Retension bonus)
Stocks : 24Lacs ( vesting period 10% | 20% | 30% | 40%)
Benefits: 2Lacs
Total Compensation: 58 LPA

Is it a lowball offer, should I negotiate with recruiter?

    Not a lowball but an average offer. Talk to Zeta to increase base to 50 (you can fake that you are expecting an offer from rippling or some other startup for negotiation) if they don't budge try to tell them that you are looking to stay for long term and believe in Zeta growth story and ask for more stock. Don't accept the first offer from any company always show that you want to negotiate.if there is any scope they will probably do it. A couple of lacs for them is nothing annually.
