Getting an offer from upstart soon. Wondering what to expect/ask for. Mid level (L4) with 3 yoe in hcol area. I’m thinking of giving the expectation of $275k but idk. Levels.fyi doesn’t have too many recent data points.

So, what (realistic) number do you think I should push for?

    One of my close friends joined Upstart and she is loving it. Said the culture and wlb is amazing, growth opportunities are plenty and best part is their mission. One of the rare fintech companies that not only is very profitable but also has an excellent mission. its a true rocketship I will be trying there soon for a ML engineering role - hope I get an offer. Heard they are quite picky and hire only the best particularly in their ml and product teams
