FB Data Scientist recuiter call

Today a fb recruiter called me for a ds role. She asked my years of experience. I said 1 yr as a ds.

She then asked what about before that. I said I was an structural engineer for 3 yrs.

She asked: so what language did you use when you were an engineer？

Me: English

OK I didn’t actually say that. I explained to her a structural engineer doesn’t write code.
