I just got a call from my Google interviewer that I passed the interview for a fte and they are moving to a team match.
She hasn't mentioned any levels or compensation numbers till now.
Should I be worried or is it common to talk about details after a team match?
What are the chances of not getting a team match in the recruitment profile?

My recruiter did let me know that I was on the cusp between two levels. At the end of the day, they did give me the original level and I wasn't downleveled (this came at the very tail end of the process).
Passing the interviews DOES NOT guarantee a hire.
Team matching before going to Hiring Committee shows one of two things.
1.) The packet isn't strong enough to go to HC, this happens a lot of the time. Matching with your team makes your case stronger for a particular level.
2.) It sounds like more and more recruiters are looking to go to team matching prior to HC because it gives them a higher success chance. It may be a new practice that's starting (not guaranteed but its what I've heard in the rumor mill).
Good luck!
P.S. You won't be able to do much to counter Google's offer unless you have a competing offer. Things like pre-IPO companies are not really worth the offer since it's essentially paper money.
Well.. be ready to get lowballed and down-leveled. That's how G. works now.
