Heard congress distributing wealth
I'm currently an intern on a team that's slowly getting toxic af (bad leadership, crazy workload, no structure - I report to the VP. smh.) I just fucked up the database b/c of constant stress. It's just taking a lot out of me and it's affecting my grades. should I just quit? (no, I don't have anything lined up as an internship). Will this burn bridges? TC: Postgrad offer secured with a different company. Currently in my senior year.
Yes
Move on professionally and cite that you need to focus at school.
If you have a postgrad offer, just relax and claim your intern paycheck. Work like you dont care being fired. Do minimal work
If they're being disruptive to your life, then you should give your 2 weeks or punch it. It will burn a lot less bridges if you go out with a warning, but probably leave a bad taste in their mouth. However, at this point it's how much you care about what they think of you vs how much you care about your WLB.
Quit and focus on your grades. That should be your priority.
Interestingly no one is talking about how op fucked up at work and just plan to walk away
I overloaded the db by pulling too many records at once. not my fault the systems are shit
Overloading a database happens and it's frequent with some larger corporations.
Nah don’t quit bro
Just do what u r asked u to do as long as u r OK with the $$
This is horrible advice, esp since OP didn't express any concerns about money at all
Quit.
Quit.
