tech girls how much do you spend on skin care per year

Jan 9 64 Comments

Want to upgrade my skin care products but the price is almost triple than the product I used before. I used to spend around 1k per year and already feel it is quite expensive. Wondering what’s the average expense for skin care per year for tech girls.

It's relevant I thought, because if it _is_ something most girls do, but not many others do (whether or not they should or can be coached etc.), then that explains why you'd ask girls about it.

    • I bet the guys with a skincare routine do better than guys without one when it comes to dating. It's not always about go to the gym and be tall. A dude with great skin is always going to be attractive to me and if he has a great skincare routine to back it up, he gets extra points.

  • There’s a korean skincare brand called “Sulwhasoo” which is pricey but works like magic. i had a lot of pimples and irritable skin but after I used it my face cleared up so much. i highly recommend it if you have the money to spend

    • I would recommend buying online from Korea or Japan. Never buy on Amazon. Way too many fakes or expired stuff.

1k for skincare???? You mean laser and thread lifts and other treatments I suppose. I dated a doctor who did research for a famous skincare brand, he used to say the only 2 products that work are sunscreen and retinA, the rest is just fillers.

I used to goto derm and get lasers and what not but now i just use pretty normal cheap stuff. Derms said expensive products dont really make much of a difference, just whats right for you.

Does anybody get regular facials and what not? Thinking about doing it monthly if its worth doing… also back on some prescription because maskne is real

Also i have too much make up so stopped buying but i do splurge on good foundation.
