Hi,
TC 359k, 7 years at google, senior eng
Where do I go from here?
Amazon - worst wlb I worked at. Never going back
Meta - rsu too risky and bad wlb I heard
Apple - no iOS experience. Heard stock only twice a year and hard to transfer teams.
Netflix - heard they let go easily. Can’t risk it it on h1b.
Microsoft- heard people who came from here to google didn’t like it and felt google was better.
Startups seem risky on h1b.
So wondering if other people have found good companies after Google.

Lol, there’s no such thing, that’s an oxymoron. Joining any company that has stocks is a risk. Do you want to be safe or take a chance? Figure that out first. Or join a company that offers all cash like Netflix or a trading firm.
