is there such a thing that exists? most TCs cited here are overestimated or underestimated by BayArea or Midwest salaries. Asking specifically for Seattle? current tc: 75k
PwC apparently pays way below market
A lot to unpack but yeah in general you’re right
That looks like a body shop consulting TC. Didn't know PwC was that bad.
Seattle. Base salary - 156k TC - ~240k Sde2
Seattle Base: 130k Bonus: 10% salary 401k match: ~2k (would have to dbl check) HSA match: ~1k (would have to dbl check) Other/ect... Referrals: 5k Employee of the quarter: 1k HackWeek prizes: 1k/500/250 1st/2nd/3rd YoE 1 to 3 TC 146k Generally I feel like Seattle recent grad trajectories 2017-2019 have looked something like this (based on anecdotal data from my cohort. P = around 40) YoE: min/max/median 1yr: 70k/160k/110k 2yr: 95k/260k/130k 3yr: 95k/280k/150k Amazon and FB at the max ends, consultanting firms and very small companies at the min ends, rest in the middle. I've seen some small companies do this thing where they low ball super hard on year 1, then give a raise on year two that puts you into a reasonable salary (like 20%-50% raise). You should expect base salary to be around the medians no matter where you apply, imo.
Holy crap this tc is bad
Hmm wonder why you say that? 🤔
Seattle Base: $92500 Bonus: ~$6.5% salary TC $98500 YOE: 0.5
salaries here aren’t overestimated for the most part
Maybe wrong word to use - but 200K in SF is not the same as 200K in Seattle would you agree?
i agree but it’s not a massive gap at least in my exp maybe like 10-15% difference
