I have an E5 offer from Facebook and am waiting for H1B transfer. My lawyers tell me my case is strong and I can join on receipt. If I choose to join on receipt, I could join before Dec 31st. If I choose to wait for approval the start date would be in Jan.
How safe is it to join on receipt? How does Facebook handle RFEs or if H1B is denied? Do they move you to a different country until the dust settles?
Also, worried about losing the stock refresh if I join in Jan. Is it pro-rated or absolute?

Having said that I would never take a chance to join on receipt given the rate of RFEs and subsequent rejections have increased lately.
