ps i have an onsite tomorrow at the Google Sunnyvale office :) my first ever Google interview. Google interviewers in the Sunnyvale location: are you going to ask easy or hard questions tomorrow? Update: i was asked two dp questions :/
All the best 👍. My old company (Amex).
What is the bar for hard questions? Working brute force code at a minimum?
Perfection, nothing less.
Brute force = rejection from google and a PIP from your current employer.
How is your hotel room? All checked in and cosy?
Something like that
Sorry in advance if some r*tard asks you a DP hard or a “more difficult kind of” hard. Wish we could control what people can ask as I have read some people get bummed (at Google) when they were asked by the recruiter that they shouldn’t be asking DP! That being said, best of luck, hope you get the job of your dreams :)
Thanks. Judging by the poll answers, I’m getting nothing but hards tomorrow. There goes my dream of getting into Google.
But if your dream is really Google, then you should have prepared the hards as well
i found the interview to be pretty standard stuff.
Did u get the L4 offer
l3 offer from google. e4 from facebook
Best of luck!
Googlers aren't afraid of difficult challenges, they embrace them!
He is not a Googler yet
That's my point... if he wants to be one, he needs to act like one... Googliness
What happened? Did you pass?
I interviewed at Sunnyvale location in April 2019 and got a reject. It was my fault, the questions they asked were actually pretty standard. My prep just wasn't up that level - I was scared of Trie and got asked to implement Sentence autocomplete feature. Anyway, enjoy the interview. The interviewers are way more helpful than Amazon and FB, in my experience.
How long did you prepare for the interview?
Before going for Google onsite, I had done 180 LC problems, mostly mediums and around 10 hard. Before FB, I did 315 LC problems, 200 medium's and 45 hard, and was able to clear onsite.
Why is it going to be easy ? Is this for L3 or L4 ?
L4-L5
So L3
