too late for internship?

Long story short, i gradated with degree in biology but am making switch to software engineering. I managed to get a contract job and in the meantime, i would like to apply for an internship at amazon. Are internships only for CS students? Did i miss the window? Can i get an internship with a referral?

Look into doing computational biology / biostatistics as a transition. They're definitely looking these days

This field is actually crazy cool especially with quantum computing coming up

Since you already graduated, it’s too late at most companies. Internships aren’t only for CS students, but you need to pass an interview and have some relevant experience

You have to be a STUDENT to be considered for an internship. Are you still a student at some college?

no i graduated back in 2015. I was just hoping that if it were possible, i could have an easier time getting in because my leetcode is not the best currently

Not as an intern. Technially, you need to be a student somewhere to be considered for an internship.
