trust glassdoor reviews?

So I recently accepted an offer from a law firm for an IT infrastructure internship. However, reading the glassdoor reviews now, EVERY review talks shit about the CIO... when I interviewed, they mentioned their tech stack was behind times, but also said that they are "working" on fixing this. My manager has also been with this firm for only 3 months and was asking me what websites I used to search for jobs... Today, I got a competing offer for a tech business analyst (unrelated to my career path in security), but the bank is well known in finance. Should I reneg or stay? just to note: during the interview with the law firm, I got all the network questions wrong, but somehow still got the offer.

Only trust the bad reviews on Glassdoor

Funny enough, couldn’t find any good reviews from IT roles.

Came here to say this, @fire<go>...

Your last paragraph says a lot... Sorry op, but that company stinks.

Good point - would reneging tarnish my reputation?

Dunno, I wouldn't stay there, if you have a better place, don't feel guilty.

I always take Glassdoor with a grain of salt. Folks with an axe to grind and HR astroturfing happens too much.

I don’t trust glass door reviews. These reviews are always skewed, only the outliers add it. Those who got really pissed or those who got really happy. And I don’t know anyone who falls in the later category. Well that said, if there are too many bad reviews, that company is probably pissing everyone off.
