I wonder myself
Consider the following. You run a multibillion dollar company. You need a platform to hold remote meetings. You can go with a private platform which is really fast, but your data is controlled by an external entity. Alternatively, you can do this in house, it may be slower, but your data is retained and you can setup a custom encryption standard above what the public uses. Should that external company get breached, many company secrets could be compromised. Is higher performance meetings worth that risk?
