Joining bonus - 15k/yr (30k split over 2 years)

Google - Software Engineer - SRE (L-3)
Base - 133k/yr
Equity - 40k/yr (124k total - 33%,33%,22%,12% over 4 years) - vests every month.
Aitcipated yearly perfomance bous - 20k/yr (from 15% yearly)
No joining bonus.
Relocation assistance is given.
Total for the first year - 174k
Location - Seattle
Years of Experience - 2.5
The recruiter also made me share my Oracle’s offer and she talks like she matched the Oracle offer apparently because Google equity is vested monthly, and she is also adding the yearly bonus to the total.

The only way you don't get the target 15% bonus is if you get an NI rating. Median rating is EE (given to ~30% folks) which is ~18% bonus.
G L3 refreshers are ~50k for CME based on a formula. While Oracle refreshers are based on how much you can ass-lick your manager.
G has a transparent annual raise, while Oracle salary raises are a Game of thrones. My friend got none for 3 years.
Besides this, if you are going to OCI, OCI oncall is much worse than G oncall. G gets paid for Tier 1 oncall beyond office hours, at OCI you get dinged if you complain about 24x7 oncall.

Based on a formula, you get the annual bonus and Refreshers.
Basically what I said to my G recruiter, it works and it’s 100% honest. Report back with results!
You could go for L4 at other companies for more TC or stick with Google at L3, both are really solid options. Congrats!
