Hi. I was wondering if any of the FAANG companies looks for passive candidates (candidates who did not apply for the job)?
If you have been contacted by any of these companies without applying, can you please share some information on the channel they approached you and based on what information you shared publicly they contacted you?
For example if based on your LinkedIn profile, do you have a killer summary or a lot of details in your profile?

Its 3 per week now.
I said that I preferred to wait until there was vaccines etc before commiting to a process
Then the same recruiter reached me out in 2021. I did the process, was approved and here I am.
That was the only FANG recruiter to reach me out of nowhere, though
I deactivated my account there a few months ago, but it hasn’t made much difference, I still get contacted daily by recruiters from various companies.
Of the FAANGS, I’ve only ever been in the actual interview pipeline for Facebook but I dropped out after the initial screening because I accepted another offer. That was also around six years ago, though.
