      The big brained folks over in the GOP have come up with:

      - he's too old. Old people don't deserve the same bar of justice as the rest of us.

      - they were made-up crimes. So I guess there are some crimes that we should take seriously and other crimes are just "crimes" that are there in name only to scare you.

      - the deep state. Basically conspiracy theories with nothing to back them up with as much evidence as Illuninati, never landing on the moon, gay frogs, etc.
