Have an offer at Facebook that I'm heavily considering turning down for less pay but better wlb.
FB offer is 40k higher but the psc culture is a turn off and I don't need to grind at this point in my career (6 yoe, don't want to rest and vest but the competitive grind gets old). On the other hand I'm giving up the money, career growth, and resume brand of FB.
Am I crazy?

A bump in TC might be worth the hassle, yes, but it gotta be much higher than 40k. Amazon is no less of a brand name than facebook, and you can cash out that chip for a higher TC, either with facebook or some other company.
FB is a very high stress environment due to PSC culture. My WLB improved (I don't go over 50h/w) but stress has gone through the roof. It's a constant hustling culture for 5+.
Eng is top notch, data tools are best in class. Most E5+ that don't deliver are PIPed out.
I have been here 1.5 years with good/exceed ratings and plan to leave in the next 3-4 months due to stress and constant hustle.
