uber new layoff?
I see a news that uber is submitting a layoff files about 500 positions in bay area. Is that a new round or the file for last time?

They have to unwind the hiring binges now that they're public, especially with a never ending sinking stock and escalating expenses in vapor promises (I.e. Self driving).

They're going to continue to cut costs until they are not losing $$$$$$ every quarter (so: indefinitely). Employees are expensive.
