Classical CV roles in India

I am currently working as a Computer Vision Researcher in a start up company researching on high precision SLAM algorithms using stereo systems.
I am looking to move to India by the end of the year/beginning of 2022. The job search process seems intense for classical CV researchers in India as the industry seems to be more AI focused.
Are there any companies currently in India working on SLAM algorithms? I applied to companies such as Mercedes Benz, Siemens and Rapyuta Robotics that have offices in Bangalore. But I have not received any response from their hiring team.
Would it be better if I had a referral for such roles in India? Should I try to move towards the intelligent vision sector?
