Hi,
Looking for advice trying to switch into a tech industry.
My experience: 7+ years in the automotive industry in sales&marketing roles (customer experience, program/product management) in Germany. My background is in business, so I joined a graduate STEM degree in Switzerland, where I live and study now.
How would you approach a career transition with this background? I was hoping to use my previous experience in a tech company, but after applying online I got about only 2% response rate and I don't have professional network in Switzerland to ask for referrals.
What do you think is important to look at while changing industries/roles in Switzerland? I think the job market is very competitive, with many highly qualified and experienced people. And as a third country national with a limited work permit, I'm afraid many companies see this as a big disadvantage.
Will be glad to hear your thoughts.

I see many people here who worked/are working in Switzerland, thought it's worth giving a shot.
