Currently working as a Data Scientist, Base ~90K... location Colorado
Got a new offer as a Sr Data Analyst from Genentech Base 140k Bay Area + 10% bonus
I feel I am downgrading myself from a Data Science background to an analyst background... I know I can target data science jobs and get more pay...
Is it worth a switch and downgrade my role for more pay?
Edit: Currently I am working on ML & deep learning, but the new role has just SQL & reporting...

Will 90k turn into 150k in Colorado?
I never lived in the Bay area.. I heard it is v costly.. but not sure if this pay is good for the bay area ...
140k is pretty useless in bay area for a largely replaceble role.
