Personal capital and tracking rsus in cash flow

Nov 12, 2020 2 Comments

Anyone use personal capital to track NW? Trying to get it set up but it doesn't count my rsus as income when they come in, so my monthly income in cash flow view only accounts for the paycheck. Anyone know how to fix that? I sell my rsus as soon as I get them so want to track that dollar amount as income in cash view

Personal capital support had no fucking clue what I was even asking.

  • A couple years ago when I first set up my account, it worked great. It then started adding my account more than once. I reported it to them multiple times & they would sit on it for literally months with no change. I finally just deleted those from my PC account and track it using Excel (which is far from perfect, but at least I have control of tracking the value).

I do excel as well. Over the years I've fine tuned my excel sheet's format to look how I want it for my use case. So it feels better than any other tool. I've tried Mint too. Also, I got a little worried providing creds to all my financial accounts to one tool. Not sure if all these companies manage securing those creds in a good way.
