I'm planning to resign soon and thinking of using my dental and vision benefits. are there any repercussions? do i get anything back if i don't use or do i have to pay anything extra if i use all my yearly benefits. we get covered by 150 bucks for frame and free dental cleaning which I'm planning to use. since my new employer will have these benefits which i can use again.
Those benefits are part of your compensation package. You earned them by showing up and doing your job. After you earn it, it becomes your benefit, not the company’s.
HSA stays with you even after you leave. OP congrats on the new gig, where are you off to?
Thank you. I'm going to google.
He's off to Gymkhana :)
Thanks everyone for the responses
No repercussions. Get the frames, squeeze in your free physical, use up any hsa money.
Ur hsa is not tied to your employer you can (and should) move it
I thought u can keep has even after leaving?
