It must be recruiting season since my LinkedIn inbox has been burning up for the last couple weeks. A recruiter from Amazon recently reached out with a "head of" role, which appears to generally match to L7 based on my searching of Blind.
I'm currently an M1 with a murky path to M2 (my Director skip level basically said there won't be a business need unless one of the two existing M2s in my org quits) so I'm not hopeful that the clear path promised by the Director that hired me exists. Before joining the 'book, I had L7 EM offer from G and also VP at a small ($3B market cap) public company. I joined FB because it was a combination of best TC, subject area of work, and I got along very well with the Director.
It'd be a better move careerwise, but TC is a concern here, since I joined with stock in the $180s. Recruiter is being a little squirrelly on whether they can match or even come close, but I don't think L7 at Amazon can touch current TC (see below). I'd love to hear people's opinions.
TC (accepted offer in 2019): $588k
TC (appreciation, refreshers, etc.) $890k

What was your Google L7 offer? I. A little surprised that Google L7 offer was lower than FB M1
