I am having an offer from Uber(Infrastructure org) for L4 SDE role. I was not expecting this offer since I haven't prepared for interviews as I was busy with some project launch here at Amazon. I am having scope of growing to next level in my current team. I am happy with work and responsibilities in my current team but unhappy with the compensation and the fact that external hires are paid a lot.
Another option I have is to move to Seattle in some different team.
Uber folks - How is Uber in terms of culture, growth opportunities, oncall? How is the infrastructure org?
Amazon folks - How likely is to get dive and save if I am HV1 but working like Lead SDE in the team
Uber offer -70L (44L base) (can be negotiated further)
Current TC - 53L (42L base)
Current role at Amazon -L5 SDE (equivalent to L4 SDE at Uber) (2.5 years experience)

Stay away from uber and enjoy your easy move to seattle if you really want to.
For me it's been 3 days and no call. Atleast they should send a rejection mail to provide closure
