What is a good UX designer salary for 2 years experience?
Seattle would be easily 100k
I make 81k in East coast right now
Time to move on then
In the bay area, they should be getting 100k+. Check the designer report that comes out every year for reasonably accurate aggregates.
Do you mind disclose your compensation at LinkedIn? Thanks!
so I am at a point where I have to choose between development and UX as a career and I am comparing the salaries for both. Are developers paid higher than UXers with same experience
It depends on the company. 2 yrs is still junior or staff level and I've had Wells Fargo in SF offer 55/hr for a senior contract. Which I replied you have to be kidding... do you realize my job is to make you as much money as possible while building loyalty in your brand? You need the confidence and means to walk away from work if you are solely focused on the money because it's all over the place. Both take an insane amount of brain power so I suggest you pick the one you like better. Design will always be more competitive in my opinion as well so the time without a job might also be longer in between.
Glassdoor Comparably LinkedIn.com/salary (I think that’s the url) All have some decent estimates.
110+
our entry level designers earn $90k
goes up $12k per level
The MeasuringU calculator is pretty good: https://measuringu.com/salary-survey2016/ Numbers really vary by region. I eat a lot of compensation in exchange for flexibility in hours & location. Not all job benefits are strictly monetary.
Wtf. All of you are asking way too low. Senior ux designer here with 3 years of experience and I get $155k plus bonus. Actually I'm going to ask for a raise because my manager suggested it to me.
$155k with 3 years experience. Good for you but no way is that the norm. Where do you work? You hiring?
Should be 94k +/- 5k
Where at? Count me in.
