Getting rejected from FAANG companies at final stages. Any tips on how to prepare?
The last two years I was a contractor at Google. I interviewed for a full time role. HC requested a follow up interview, which I did, and I was rejected after. I took a CTH job at Amazon, interviewed for FTE, and again, was rejected. I was pretty surprised at Amazon’s rejection because I felt like I nailed the interview but took it with stride.
Just the other day, I had a final round interview with AirBnb. Many of the questions were the standard Silicon Valley behavioral/analytical questions. The interview felt much better than the other ones at G and A and I thought I answered them well. The team was very welcoming. I was really hoping for good news but just found out from the HM that I was rejected. She told me they ultimately needed someone with more experience and to reapply again in 6-12 months.
Next week, I have my final round interview for a FTE role with Facebook. Most of these companies don’t provide feedback and I’ve done the best I can to learn on my own through self reflection how I could answer questions better but I really have no clue where I am missing the mark. There’s clearly something I’m doing wrong that I am not aware of.
Does anyone have any tips or insights?
Thanks I’m advance!

Just apply more and eventually you’ll get something great.
How did we come to this point?
I bet every harsh commenter would be nice if met in person!
Of all those there, I think you have the best shot at FB. They seem to get people in. I knew some sourcers from all over and they seemed to get right into FB. Although there seems to be a short shelf life.
