Does one pay more than the other? Are they equally prestigious? Which has worse WLB? Are they in the same office building?

Have interview offers with both but recruiter said I need to pick one.

Securities is slightly better if you are tech, although both are crap. And please don’t associate “prestige” with either 🙏.

  Yea I'm in Equities S&T, not trading systems (I heard that's a little more competitive). I heard Marcus can also get close to FANG, everything else is pretty much trash for non-MDs.

Citadel Securities bluetiger

CitSec has a stronger emphasis on engineering and a more techie culture from what I’ve seen, while Citadel is more focused on finance and trading. Pay is generally similar and office/benefits are exactly the same. I worked on both and preferred the CitSec culture but it’s a personal decision

Citsec is better pretty much across the board, especially if you're on the eng/quant side. Culture is way more chill.

What do you want to do? Different tech stacks, same class of people. Sec has a stronger focus on eng kinda but it’s not apples to apples
