    Students used Chegg to cheat. Chegg was quiet about it. Customer base grew. Investors were happy.

    Universities get upset. Universities push Chegg. Chegg started providing customer names to Universities. Students got screwed.

    Chegg got loud about it. Students got loud about it. Customer base not growing. Investors not happy.

    Slowing business due to pandemic. I never used chegg before but there is a perception that students use chegg to cheat on their homework.

    And the exec team really don’t have any original ideas other than finding new small companies that provide a specific service to acquire than follow that up with failing to cancel some unsuspecting students subscriptions on time so they are still getting billed.

    Their motto was all about saving students money. Yeah sure. It’s really trying to screw them over and the CEO was a huge wall st stock pumper.

    Chegg has NO STRATEGY. they flew high with pandemic tailwind but the stock is now adjusting back to normal. They only way they make money is when students want to cheat during examinations and stopping them from sharing accounts. The leadership is so naive.
