who put instacart in that list even ?
are codesignal, coderpad, hackerrank - not whiteboard ?

what i am worried about is how much more complex can it get ?
1. integrate google-maps, or BLE, or Camera-X, in the given 1 hour time-slot ?
2. fix multiple bugs to get full-functionality "correctly" within the given 1 hour, after verbally speaking out ideas, basically in an entirely unfamiliar code-base ?
3. fix bugs and logic in a single json parser function that is over 50 lines-of-code, and fails all unit-test cases ?
4. develop an extremely complex logic for a game-app, like scores in a game of bowling, or analog-clock display, or minesweeper game ?
i've seen them all, and I am not entirely sure where to draw the line for a good interview question, adequate skills to clear the bar of acceptance and such. basically, how much should i know at the top-of-my-head so i don't fumble during the interview for an insanely incomplete "practical skills" challenge. without ds & algo, and more of a "practical skills", i don't know what's a good completion state within 1 hour despite having to look up google and stackoverflow all the time ?
