You’ll be surprised how many poor ppl own fancy cars while living in rundown homes and working low paying jobs. I would still tip, you don’t really know what this particular person’s backstory is.
It’s a California lifestyle, but not usually in the Bay Area. In Los Angeles all those people you see on shows like Vanderpump don’t live like that without entertainment industry money from the TV show. Instead, they “live” (really just sleep and receive mail) 1-2 hours east of there in the IE in a shared bedroom in a run down suburban house with other 20-40-somethings. This house is surrounded by luxury cars from about 2 in the morning to noon, because that’s the only time they’re there (to sleep) and it is the only thing their peers see of their lives. They spend 4+ hours of their waking hours behind the wheel of this car, so it is their most important possession.
So by your logic, if your boss sees you roll into work in a lambo, then you should get zero discretionary bonus / refreshers / raise for the next year (because clearly you are doing well enough)?
Well thats false because youre being told rn by customers.
Mapping is messed up for my development. I have left detailed steps to find my house for the dasher in the app. I'm not tipping the 10% of them that fail to read it and get lost until my food is cold and they have to call me to read it to them.
