I have an offer from Meta and I want to take it. How bad is the GC situation there. My PD is in June 2015.

Most of the info online is confusing.. some say its all fine and some say stay away.

This post is not about meta but about GC problems at meta#h1b #greencard

It's a massive issue and will remain so for the next 3 years when their process will be extremely slow with lots of audits. It's tearing the company apart but their HR is doing their best to keep the news from getting out.

  • I might get an offer from meta. Does this mean not even a single perm has been approved for meta since 2021 Jan?

Apparently, most people in Meta are not aware that those pending cases will also be pulled back, and many people are still waiting for their cases to be processed. If what you said turns out to be true, the immigration team would either have been unaware of such possiblity or have been intentionally withholding information.

Here, the "pending cases" are used to refer to the PERM cases that had already been submitted to DOL before the settlement, and have not been withdrawn. That is, the cases described in the 5.b in this document: dol.gov/sites/dolgov/files/OPA/newsreleases/2021/10/eta20211894.pdf
