If I was a CEO or the owner a company I would definitely try to cut expenses and move jobs to low cost areas.

Isn’t they all have this mentality?

What are your thoughts on this?

Very concerned for the future of tech jobs w.r.t. TC and outsourcing. A company like Facebook wouldn’t move to WFH just out of the kindness of their own hearts - they want an excuse to pay employees less.

It will spread the wealth to non coastal cities and towns. This move will change politics as hipsters and tech bro’s go to red states and make it purple

There will be some offshore jobs, sure. But there will always be demand for jobs in their home markets. I don’t think we’ll see a whole lot change - other than the ability to pop into the office only when needed.

Some jobs will always be safe - such as Sales, Partnerships, key engineering roles, etc.
