    Very fun car to drive. Drive almost feels like 3 series.
    Get the range extender.
    2017+ models has increased range
    Possible turn offs:
    -Side winds will effect your drive
    -tires have very limited option to replace.it is said that they don't last long.
    - back seat access is a misery for driver and passenger
    - chademo required for super charge.( If no dc charge option)
    - interior trim options compared to other BMWs.

      I thought that the DC Charging system plug is a CCS on these and not a Chademo? Since Chademo is a Japanese standard used by Asians car manufacturers

      I think you're right. Some of the i3s have dc fast charge option.

  • You have to understand what owning an ev is like. Right now for a lot it’s a car you try to drive the most but you have some fallback if you need to take a long trip (another car hybrid or otherwise)

    Owning an ev feels like you are driving for free. It’s awesome and the ride quality is higher than cars costing 10 times as much.

    There gas engine in comparison is like looking at a horse and buggy.
