      I’ve seen a lot of horror stories about boot camps, loans, lack of placement, etc. Just make sure you’re doing a legit program that does legit coding. Not HTML/CSS bullshit or “Hello World!” JavaScript ... unless that’s what you want out of it.

      Development is really two core skills: problem solving/solution generation and (efficient) coding. Boot camps can’t seem to cram in sufficient work time to teach both adequately.

      Full time or part time doesn’t matter as long as you put in THE TIME.

      If ~ 5k and ten weeks of 2 days a week in a General Assembly UX course significantly helps me get a job then I wouldn't call it lighting money on fire. The networking, mentorship and connections alone have pretty big value especially when doing in it in person
