Hi All,

I recently got to know from blind posts about the pay rise. I have already accepted the offer but I will start working from next month. I have not yet been contacted by anyone from qualcomm on this and I think I should wait to hear from HR/ anyone from qualcomm on this rather than me contacting them first.
What do you folks think I should do in this case?

Thanks in advance

  • You should just talk with the HR person. Ask if the pay raise was included in your case or not. If you share your offer people here on blind might be able to tell if it was included or not.

    • Qualcomm is so desperate for good talent they will match most offers. But agree with others, better have another competing offer lined up and ask to match that rather than 5% or 10% that existing employees got 👊🤠

I had another offer at the time but it wasn't comparable with qualcomm offer as the other offer was was in the east. It was decent compared to east coast tc

  • Yes, you are eligible for the hike as per the mail and details available. Just check with HR saying you have friends and they told you are eligible. HR can't bluff then and will raise.

  • For All new joiners it's applicable.

  • Same situation. Just signed the offer last week.

I wrote the mail to ask HR, and HR answered that "it will be adjusted post your joining". But she doesn't mention about the percentage.

You should reach out. But asking for higher pay because current employees got a raise is not justification.
    You need stronger competitive offers.
