Ok I made a similar post a couple weeks ago, but now I have concrete offers from:

Asana - $65/hr
Salesforce - $50/hr + $9k post-tax stipend
Google - $43/hr + corporate housing or $3k monthly stipend

I'd really like to start a company out of college (while working full time, at least at the start) so I don't think Google would work because of their IP rules (sf and asana say they allow side gigs as long as they're not direct competition), but what do you guys think?

EDIT: This is for summer 2022, I graduate thanksgiving 2022 (school does quarters)

Google is more or less is covering your living expenses so that 43/hr is a saving. In addition google on your CV will look a lot attractive

I see, so it's more that Google will essentially get you more interviews and recruiter calls?

Right! After all the interviews if the hiring manager had to select one candidate among a pool of strong ones who’ve done equally well in all the rounds it’ll be the one with a better track record. This is from my experience

Google. Out of the three, starting at G will provide the most momentum to your career.

But if I'm not planning to climb the career ladder and instead want to start my own company, would you still recommend google with their IP rules?

Yes, as said before Google will look very good on your resume I am almost getting messages from recruiters every week even though I joined Google about a year ago as a new grad. I also want to start my own company later and have no intention to climb the ladder but I think G is still the best option because you will probably meet smarter people (think of it as people you want to recruit for your startup), understand how a giant works, and have more free time to actually work on your project (on your personal computer :)) and you can launch it when you quit Google.

Is this for fall?? Anyway I recommend just going to google, since once you have it you can always get to interview with the other companies
