Sony WH-H910N wireless headphones - Not having a good experience

I've used the Jabra wired headphones with mic for my office meetings and it's been great except that it wasn't wireless. Recently bought the Sony WH-910N and not loving it. Listening to music/audio is great, but when I use the microphone, my voice sounds slightly echo-y and quiet. I can hear the other person fine, but not hearing myself in the natural tone doesn't feel great.

Is this an issue with all wireless headphones with a mic or just this model? Should I try a different brand or just go back to using the wired headphones?

  • I have a pair of Sony wf-sp800n Bluetooth headphones (in-ear). Had these for several months now, I just love these, have no complaints thus far!

    • I’m a bass fan, so this won it for me categorically. Charging is like they advertise!

Thinking of getting these just for music and personal use and not rely on wireless headphones for Zoom calls cause I’m hearing Airpods (for example) can’t even last a few hours

It works fine for me. Haven’t had issues with the call.

Same issue with my Sony WH-1000xm3.. Noise cancellation, sound quality and the other person's mic, all are great.. But terrible mic on such expensive headphones.
The newer WH-1000xm4 has apparently multiple high quality mics to fix this.. If only there was a trade-in
