I am interviewing for a director role and got to a final round with one of the companies. A recruiter sent me the itinerary and I saw that I will have to talk to 8 fucking people in one day. Is this a norm for a director role or should I take my stuff and run the f away from this company?

Sr SDE has a hard limit of 5 loops. If there were 10, those people were shadowing and learning from the interview. Not asking questions.
You might have interviewed before my time if you were actually questioned by 10 people.
Session split across 2 days is normal.
All in one day is brutal.
Why donโt you request the sessions to be split across days? This is very normal.
The big challenge would be for the recruiter to get schedules for folks who are interviewing you. If the role is D , then more than half of your panel will be D+. This could lead to delays.
If you are serious about this and donโt want it stretched, then just grind it and get done.
